The table is a charming and original piece constructed from smooth and weathered reclaimed solid elm.
Its tactile timbers have been carefully sanded and then sympathetically restored, allowing the age and beauty of the timbers to be revealed. Imperfections and historic marks are not generally sanded from the surface but are left visible to celebrate the age and history of the item.
Historic woodworm holes may be evident in the timber, but will have been treated. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
