This unique counter is accessible on both sides, with two large drawers on one side, above a set of cupboards. On the other side, there are four smaller drawers above open shelving - perfect for filling with treasured serving bowls, linen and glassware.
This is an amazing piece of furniture crafted from beautiful salvaged ancient timber. It has been expertly crafted using reclaimed pine, its timber sanded and then waxed to give a smooth tactile finish. It is beautifully restored but the craftsmen have left just the right amount of rustic patina to the timber surface. The fabulous characterful timbers have been stripped back by hand, to allow the age and beauty of the wood to show through.
Please do not expect this piece to be perfect. It has been crafted with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic of the timber. We feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
