It has been expertly crafted using reclaimed wood, its timber sanded and then waxed to give a smooth tactile finish. It is beautifully restored but the craftsmen have left just the right amount of rustic patina to the timber surface. The fabulous characterful timbers have been stripped back by hand, allowing the wood's age and beauty to show through.
Please do not expect this piece to be perfect. It has been crafted with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic of the timber. We feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
