Petrified Wood Pair of Bookends
Petrified Wood Pair of Bookends
These petrified wood bowls began life as living trees, slowly transformed over millions of years into stone. As the wood fossilised, the organic structure was replaced by minerals, preserving the original rings, knots and grain in incredible detail.
Hand-shaped from solid fossilised tree trunks, each bowl has its own palette of charcoal, sand, cream and warm earthy tones. Natural fissures, markings and variations are part of the piece’s history and charm.
