Simple, elegant and understated these rustic antique wooden benches are beautifully worn and the epitome of modern rustic design. The surface is perfectly imperfect and has an appearance of textured and worn driftwood.
These stunning benches feature beautiful ornate oriental carvings on the legs.
Sit yours at the end of the bed or in the hallway or boot room, or use them as an occasional dining bench when the need arises.
Our benches are at least 100 years old, made for solid elm and each one is always unique from the next. These handmade benches would probably have utilized reclaimed timber when they were made therefore no two are exactly alike, and the timbers in most cases exceed 100 years old.
They are beautifully rustic in the finish with a worn patina. Their slightly splayed trestle legs are very pleasing to the eye. Furniture does not come much more unassuming than this.
Please expect very rustic condition, timber may have non-structural splits, filler, splashes or patches of paint, evidence of dormant woodworm, etc… you will be receiving a piece of furniture of very rustic character. However, this only adds to their rustic charm.
