Large Vintage Shipwreck stoneware bottle
Our stoneware gin bottles are vintage marine archeology relics recovered from a shipwreck in Indonesia.
The lovely amulet shaped bottles have been submerged for many decades and have therefore developed a natural marine exoskeleton of coral, barnacles and other marine deposits.
These dutch gin bottles are 90-100 years old and every one is uniquely decorated by ocean life.
Some bottles have shells inside which may be loose and may rattle. They can not be removed and make rather lovely jingling sound.
Some bottles have had a handle which has been eroded away by the forces of the tides but most bottles have both handles present. Please see images for reference.
Our shipwrecked vintage pots with barnacles are each a unique work of art perfect for use in a coastal design scheme.
Dimensions: Each bottle is 30-31 cm tall and 9-11cm wide
Age: 90-100 years old
Condition: Excellent for a marine recovered item which has been submerged for 80 years. Please expect marine encrustations and shells inside and outside the bottle.
