This item has a small hole in the top to allow you to insert electrical cable. This shade is supplied without any electrical components. The hole to receive the cable is 2-3cm in diameter.

As it only has a tiny hole to the bottom for an electrical cable this item could also be used as a floor basket or as a basket on a shelf.
