A timeless table with a pared-back aesthetic. If you are looking for a table with a relaxed and informal look then our large handcrafted salvaged dining table will tick all your boxes.
Each table is totally different with individually unique weathering to its surface. The reclaimed pine timbers we use for these tables are over 150 years old and were previously used as part of the architectural structure of period buildings.
We embrace the unique and imperfect at Home Barn. For us, the cracks, blemishes and weathered imperfections are the attractive features of this table.
The beauty of our primitive-looking table is that it looks ancient and will therefore never date. A weathered finish to your table will ensure your family and guests feel relaxed. It will make your interior space feel more personal. This table is the perfect choice for a uniquely stylish home.
Rather than filling cracks and planing this timber back to a flat perfect surface, the timbers are arranged so that each knock and ding is on the show and celebrated. These so-called imperfections on the table surface are an indication of the organic nature of reclaimed timber and its weathering in the elements of nature over time.
Choose a tabletop from the images to see the individual wood characteristics and variations, as this is a personal decision. Note that while the images may appear different due to lighting, all tables have a similar wood tone.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR LARGE HANDCRAFTED SALVAGED DINING TABLE
The tactile surface with planks of different widths (please do not expect a perfectly flat top). Wooden plugs and patches fill larger surface holes, often randomly placed.
Beautiful cracks both small and wide, deep and long formed naturally in the ancient timbers.
Primitive, handcrafted aesthetic. There are signs of the timber's historic use across the timbers such as holes, dings, dents and traces of paint.
Please do not expect your table grain to be matched from plank to plank or symmetrical across the table.

225 cm length x 100 cm wide, Seats 8 persons.
185 cm length x 90 cm wide, Seats 6 persons.
265cm - The distance between the legs on the long side is 160cm approximately.
225cm - The distance between the legs on the long side is 154cm approximately
185cm - The distance between the legs on the long side is 130cm approximately.
A matching bench is available.
ASSEMBLY OF TABLE
Assembly is not included as a part of our one-man delivery service and assembly of the legs is via a simple set of bolts and pegs. You will require a spanner.
When removing the table elements from the package please locate the symbols on the four components which should be placed adjacent to the corresponding symbol. There is a wooden peg to secure the stretcher bar which needs to be pushed gently in with the palm of your hand with no force required.
