Hand blown Moroccan bottle | Amber

Our range of hand blown Moroccan is hand made by skilled artisans in using traditional centuries old methods.

Each piece is made from recycled glass and every piece is unique. Each one being hand made varies in patina, shape and thickness. There may be patterns within the glass and bubbles and quirky marks - all a true sign of their hand crafted nature.

This bottle has had its stopper formed by creating a bauble and then strectching the molten glass to form a stopper. The bottom of the stopper is cut through using a heavy sword once formed creating a rustic edge to the bottom (see secondary images for details).

To make this type of item, molten glass is placed onto the end of a hollow pipe and inflated by mouth. The object is formed by blowing and then rolling over a cold iron surface to achieve the item's unique shape and form.

This beautiful bottle would look amazing in a kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.
