Extra Large Antique Gong on Stand | Sulawesi

From the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia this gong is over 100 years old.  This is a traditioinal musical instrument made from bronze. It plays an important part in ceremnies, traditional music and religious rituals.

This beautiful gong has a stunning verdigris patina and will form a wonderful centrepiece on a console table or entrance hall table.

This item is very heavy, the gong alone weighs around 20 kg and the sturdy stand a further 20kg

There is no gong beater with this piece.

Courier Delivery

Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier as this item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service. 

When delivery takes place it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.  

The courier will not be able to carry the delivery up or down steps to access your property.

After the courier has left you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.  

Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
