Our articles in oak, birch and pine are made of untreated, natural wood.
They may therefore have knots or holes and naturally grown characteristics.
It is not possible to dry the wood down to the core, which may lead to some cracking over time.
Also the wood mushrooms are hand cut out of fresh, untreated wood.
By using fresh wood over time drying cracks may appear. They give the mushrooms their particular characteristics and can therefore be no reason for complaint.
We recommend installing the articles in well-ventilated areas and providing for proper air circulation under and above the columns.
This is a handmade item. Variations in texture, colour and pattern are to be expected.
