With a stunning aged patina, this item has been fully restored with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic of the timber. The artisan restorers have been careful to retain all the character that we love to see in a modern rustic piece. The timbers have been sanded, stripped back by hand and then waxed to give a smooth tactile finish.

Please do not expect this piece to be perfect. There will of course be signs of historical use, and minor variations and small imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
