Antique Shipwreck Sawankhalok pottery jar 98002

Originating from Thailand in South East Asia these stunning ceramics were salvaged from a Shipwreck found between China and Indonesia.

This small jar is both a work of art and a time capsule

The vase would have originally had a monochrome hand-painted design underglaze but the passage of time and tides has worn this away etching the external surfaces to a matt finish. Each antique jar has a unique weather appearance due to its submerged history.
