The back of the chair reveals its original construction, while the front showcases the exposed horsehair interior and the original burlap hessian or calico seat lining has been revealed by carefully stripping back the seat material. Some of our chairs include a soft, striped seat cushion for added comfort, and on some you can still observe the original upholstery pins
