Written in Arabic using henna or ink onto a piece of argan wood these incredibly historic artefacts offer an insight into the Amizigh people or Berbers of the moutainous regions of Morrocco.
Often stamped by a person of authority within a village these manuscrips hand written in arabic were created where paper was not available.
Often the text will include the village of the marriage and it's location within the scripts.
Beautifully executed each contract is a completely unique piece of history.
